Every name counts … when did you last vet your database?

One of your company’s most valuable assets is its database. With the New Year quickly approaching and business activity slowing down for the holidays isn’t now a good time to visit your database and clean it up?

  1. Audit and define: List all data sources feeding your marketing/sales database. Include information such as audience segmentation, list source, last update.
  2. Review: Eliminate duplicates, unnecessary fields, people you haven’t contacted in the past 10 years.
  3. Clean: Hire a college or high school student (s) while on winter break to verify information in your database older than 12 months.
  4. Plan: Build a structure and system for implement ongoing audit, review and updates.
